By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read and understand short written sentences that describe the location of public places on a city map.
Identify public places (la banque, la pharmacie, l’hôpital, le marché, l’école, la gare) on a simple map of a town centre.
Match written phrases such as “en face de”, “à côté de”, and “près de” to the correct positions on a map.
Answer written comprehension questions about the positions of public places using a map.
Describe in writing the position of at least three public places on a map using the phrases studied.
