Indicator: B6.4.2.3.2 - Lire et comprendre les heures les programmes d’événements

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify and read times expressed in French on event programmes, such as 14 h 30 or huit heures et demie.
  2. Match written times to the correct activities listed on a programme of events (for example, a festival timetable, a football match schedule, or a school open day programme).
  3. Answer simple comprehension questions in French about the times and activities found in a written programme.
  4. Compare similar programmes and state which event comes first or last using phrases like d’abord, ensuite, enfin, à quelle heure.
  5. Recognise the 24-hour clock format used in French schedules and convert common evening times (for example, 19 h = sept heures du soir).
