Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.4.2.3.1 - Lire et comprendre l’heure qu’il est
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read and correctly identify times shown on written French clocks and schedules (e.g., 7 h 30, 12 h 15, 18 h 00).
- Match written French time expressions to the correct clock faces or digital displays.
- Recognise and interpret time-related vocabulary found in simple written schedules, such as “départ” (departure), “arrivée” (arrival), “matin” (morning), “après-midi” (afternoon), and “soir” (evening).
- Answer simple written comprehension questions about the times shown on a transport schedule or poster.
- Distinguish between “l’heure” (the hour) and “les minutes” (the minutes) in written form, building on the oral work from Week 7.
