By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read a simple French text or dialogue in which someone asks for, gives, or refuses permission, and identify who is asking and what permission is being requested.
Extract from the text the exact expressions used to demand, give, or refuse permission (e.g., Est-ce que je peux…, Oui, tu peux…, Non, ce n’est pas permis…).
Answer comprehension questions in French and in English showing understanding of the text’s main ideas and details.
React to the text by stating whether the permission was granted or refused, and justify their answer with evidence from the text.
Pronounce key permission expressions correctly when reading the dialogue aloud, respecting liaison and intonation.
