Indicator: 2.1.2.LI.1 - Determine the factors that affect demand for a commodity.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define the term “demand” and distinguish it from mere “want” or “desire.”
  2. List at least six key factors that affect the demand for a commodity.
  3. Explain how each factor influences demand, using appropriate economic reasoning.
  4. Apply the factors of demand to real-life scenarios in Ghana, including their own experiences as students.
  5. Work collaboratively in mixed-ability, mixed-gender groups to research and present findings on assigned factors of demand.
