Learning Objectives

Indicator: B5.1.4.1.1 - Écouter/Regarder et comprendre un document sur les caractéristiques physiques et l’habillement d’une personne

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and name at least six parts of the body when they hear them in French (la tête, les yeux, les cheveux, le nez, la bouche, les jambes, etc.) during a video or audio document.
Listen to and watch a short video or audio document describing a person’s physical characteristics and clothing, and point to the correct body part or clothing item when asked in French.
Respond correctly to at least three comprehension questions in French about the physical features and clothing of a person described in the document.
Match spoken descriptions (e.g. “Il a les yeux noirs”, “Elle porte une robe”) to the correct image among two or three pictures shown by the teacher.
Demonstrate understanding of key vocabulary related to physical appearance and clothing by drawing or pointing to what they hear, without reading any text.
