Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.1.4.1.3 - Lire, comprendre et réagir à un texte dans lequel on décrit les caractéristiques physiques et morales de quelqu’un (Réception écrite / Compréhension des écrits)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read aloud a simple French text describing a person’s physical and moral characteristics with correct pronunciation and intonation.
Identify and extract key descriptive phrases (physical characteristics such as size, complexion, hair, and moral characteristics such as personality traits) from a written text.
Answer comprehension questions in French or English that demonstrate understanding of a descriptive text.
React to the text by giving a personal opinion (e.g., “Je trouve qu’il est sympathique” or “Je n’aime pas ce comportement”).
Match descriptive vocabulary from the text to the correct category (caractéristiques physiques vs. caractéristiques morales).
