Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.1.4.2.1 - Poser et répondre à des questions sur les caractéristiques physiques d’une personne
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Ask the question “Comment est-il ?” or “Comment est-elle ?” and “Comment est ton frère / ta sœur ?” to inquire about someone’s physical appearance.
- Respond to these questions using correct subject-verb agreement (Il est / Elle est) with the adjectives grand, petit, gros, grosse, mince, and others.
- Use the expressions “Il a / Elle a” with body part nouns to describe physical features such as “une grosse tête”, “le nez plat”, “les yeux noirs”, and “les cheveux courts”.
- Formulate three or more questions and answers in a short dialogue describing a person’s physical characteristics.
- Distinguish correctly between masculine and feminine forms of describing adjectives (grand/grande, petit/petite, gros/grosse).
