Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.5.3.1 - Lire et comprendre un texte simple sur une famille illustre
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read aloud a short French text about a famous Ghanaian family with correct pronunciation and reasonable fluency.
- Identify the key family members mentioned in the text and their relationships to one another.
- Answer simple comprehension questions in French about the text (who, what, where questions).
- Extract at least three specific details from the text (names, ages, professions, or places) and present them in French.
- Distinguish between family relationship vocabulary they already know (père, mère, frère, soeur) and new relationship terms found in the text (grand-père, grand-mère, oncle, tante, cousin).
