By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. List at least six members of the extended family (grand-père, grand-mère, oncle, tante, cousin, cousine) in French with the correct spelling.
  2. Write complete sentences describing the relationship of each extended family member (e.g., “Mon oncle est le frère de ma mère.”)
  3. Produce a short written paragraph (4 to 6 sentences) describing two or three extended family members, including their family link, profession, and tastes or preferences.
  4. Use the correct possessive adjectives (mon, ma, mes) and singular/plural forms when writing about family members.
  5. Organise their writing into a simple paragraph with a clear order: introduce the person, state the family link, give the profession, and state a preference.
