By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Listen to and watch a short audio-visual document that describes an extended family (une famille élargie) and identify the main members mentioned (grands-parents, oncles, tantes, cousins, etc.).
Extract specific information from the audio-visual document, such as names, ages, and family relationships.
Respond in French to simple comprehension questions about the family described in the document.
Match key vocabulary of extended family members to their correct relationship (e.g., “la sœur de ma mère” = “ma tante”).
Retell, in a few simple French sentences, who the members of the family in the document are.
