Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.1.5.3.1 - Lire et comprendre un texte simple sur les membres de la famille d’une personnalité publique
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read aloud a short French text about the family of a public figure with accurate pronunciation of family member vocabulary.
- Identify and list at least 5 family member words (le père, la mère, le frère, la sœur, le fils, la fille) when they appear in a written text.
- Extract key factual information from the text by answering comprehension questions such as “Qui est le père de…?” and “Combien d’enfants…?”
- Match French family terms to their English equivalents using a simple matching exercise based on the text.
- Demonstrate understanding by completing true/false statements about the family described in the text.
