Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.3.4.LI.4 - Écrire un texte sur des genres de la littérature (Production et interaction écrites).

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify at least five literary genres (narratif, poétique, théâtral, épistolaire, argumentatif) and give one defining feature of each in French.
Organise information about a chosen literary genre into a logical structure suitable for a pamphlet (titre, introduction, caractéristiques, exemples).
Write a short paragraph of 5 to 7 sentences in French presenting one literary genre, using correct vocabulary related to literature.
Create a simple dépliant (pamphlet) presenting two or more literary genres with accurate information, clear headings and appropriate illustrations.
Review a peer’s pamphlet and provide one positive comment and one suggestion for improvement in French.
