Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.3.4.LI.1 - Présenter et discuter des genres de la littérature (Production et interaction orale).

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Name and present at least five genres of literature (narratif, poétique, théâtral, épistolaire, argumentatif) in French with correct pronunciation.
Identify a literary genre from a short oral description and justify their answer using key vocabulary.
Ask and answer simple questions about literary genres with a partner, using phrases such as “Quel genre préfères-tu?” and “Je préfère le genre…”
Engage in a short class discussion, expressing at least one opinion about a literary genre and responding to a classmate’s opinion with tolerance and respect.
Match Ghanaian literary works they know (orally) to the appropriate literary genre.
