Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.6.6.1.3 - Show how to make Browser apps, add-ons, plug-ins, and extensions.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define browser apps, add-ons, plug-ins, and extensions in their own words.
- Distinguish between the four types of browser customisations with clear examples of each.
- Demonstrate how to locate the extensions or add-ons store in a common browser and search for a specific tool.
- Install a simple, safe browser extension or add-on following the teacher’s step-by-step guidance.
- Explain the purpose of a plug-in and identify at least one plug-in they have encountered while browsing, such as for playing videos.
