Indicator: B7.2.3.1.1

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify and list at least five different plant nutrient sources found in their own community.
  2. Classify each identified nutrient source as either organic or inorganic based on its origin.
  3. Create a table that clearly shows the differences between organic and inorganic plant nutrients.
  4. Explain why both organic and inorganic nutrients are important for plant growth.
  5. Work in groups to survey the school compound and surrounding area for nutrient sources and present their findings to the class.
