Learning Objectives

Indicator: B9.4.3.1.1 - Show good skills in planning an essay, drafting, editing and revision.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify and name the three parts of an essay: introduction (المقدمة), main body (المضمون), and conclusion (الخاتمة).
  2. Plan an essay by writing ten sentences organised into introduction, body, and conclusion on a given topic.
  3. Draft a short essay in Arabic using their ten-sentence plan as a guide.
  4. Edit and revise a draft by checking for spelling errors, correct sentence structure, and logical flow of ideas.
  5. Apply the steps of planning, drafting, editing, and revision to produce a final, coherent paragraph in Arabic.
