Learning Objectives

Indicator: B9.2.2.3.8 - Post-performance analysis of the original dance drama and/ or one act play

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Reflect on the audience response to their performed dance drama or one act play and list at least three specific observations about how the audience reacted.
  2. Prescribe at least two areas of improvement for their performance, based on evidence from their post-performance reflection.
  3. Analyse the strengths and weaknesses of their own performance using a simple reflection framework (what worked, what did not work, what to improve).
  4. Discuss with peers how the message of the performance (for example, sanitation, energy, or pension awareness) was received and understood by the audience.
  5. Record their post-performance analysis in a structured written format that they can use to guide future performances.
