Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.2.2.3.9 - Organise an appreciation and appraisal of own and others’ artworks in dance and drama that reflect the history and culture of the people of the community
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State the purpose of appreciation and appraisal in dance and drama performances.
- Identify and write down at least three strengths and three weaknesses of a dance or drama performance using a simple appraisal guide.
- Give respectful, constructive verbal feedback to peers on their dance and drama performances.
- Use feedback received from the audience and peers to suggest at least one improvement for a future performance.
- Organise a mini performance showcase with an audience and record the appraisal notes from the audience.
