Learning Objectives
Indicator: B3.1.6.1.4 - Use a wider variety of words to talk about different customs and cultural values
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least five different customs and cultural practices shown in a conversational poster.
- Use at least three new descriptive words (e.g. colourful, respected, traditional, sacred, joyful) to talk about a cultural custom or value.
- Explain in one or two sentences why a particular custom or cultural value is important to a Ghanaian community.
- Role-play a cultural practice (e.g. a naming ceremony, a festival, a greeting) using appropriate language and expressions.
- Listen attentively to a partner describe a custom and respond with a relevant comment or question.
