Learning Objectives
Indicator: B3.1.6.2.3 - Participate in communication, using more varied and more accurate language
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Use a range of descriptive words (adjectives and adverbs) to talk about people, places, events and customs discussed in earlier lessons
- Speak in complete, accurate sentences when contributing to a group conversation about a poster
- Take part in a group discussion, building on what others say using connecting phrases such as “That reminds me of…”, “Another thing is…” and “In addition to that…”
- Correct their own errors in grammar and word choice when prompted by the teacher or peers
- Present a short, clear summary of their group’s discussion to the whole class using varied and accurate language
