Learning Objectives
Indicator: B1.1.6.2.2 - Talk about likes and dislikes: food, animals, toys, etc.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State what they like and dislike using the sentence frames “I like…” and “I do not like…” with accurate pronunciation and clarity.
- Identify and name at least five foods, animals, or toys they like and five they dislike.
- Ask a partner the question “What do you like?” and respond appropriately using full sentences.
- Use the word “because” to give one simple reason for a like or a dislike (for example, “I like kelewele because it is sweet”).
- Listen attentively to a partner’s likes and dislikes and retell one of the partner’s preferences to the class.
