Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.6.3.3 - Ask and answer questions about key details on topics under discussion.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify key details in a spoken discussion on topics such as “How I spend my holidays” or “My future career”.
- Ask at least three clear questions to seek clarification about key details during a group discussion.
- Answer questions about key details using complete sentences and appropriate vocabulary from word cards.
- Apply agreed-upon conversation rules such as turn-taking and looking at the speaker while asking and answering questions.
- Respond to follow-up questions that begin with who, what, where, when, why and how to show understanding of a topic.
