Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.1.6.1.1 - Describe/talk about names of regions/places in the country as well as personalities in the community, expressing ideas and feelings clearly
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name all sixteen (16) regions of Ghana from memory.
- Describe at least three regions, mentioning one important place found in each.
- Identify and talk about at least two important personalities in their community, saying what makes each person important.
- Express their ideas and feelings about a place or personality using complete sentences with supporting details.
- Ask and answer simple clarifying questions about a peer’s description of a place or personality.
