Indicator: B4.1.6.2.1
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Look directly at the person speaking when listening to a conversation partner.
- Maintain eye contact with a partner for at least 60 seconds during a structured conversation.
- Use physical signs of attentiveness, such as nodding and leaning slightly forward, while listening.
- Take part in a paired conversation on the topic “Important Places in the District” while sustaining eye contact.
- Identify when a partner has maintained eye contact and when they have looked away.

- As learners observe and listen attentively, engage in a conversation with one of them on a topic e.g. "Important Places in the District". - Repeat procedure in bullet one, above, in talking about names of regions/places, festivals, date, time, familiar objects, etc. - Pairs may be invited to perform in front of the class.
