Learning Objectives
Indicator: B2.1.6.1.4 - Use a wide variety of words to talk about manners
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define manners and give at least three examples of good manners and three examples of bad manners.
- Use polite words such as “please,” “thank you,” “excuse me,” and “sorry” correctly in short sentences.
- Act out a short dialogue that shows good manners in a familiar situation, such as greeting an elder or sharing food.
- Sort given words and phrases into two groups: words that show good manners and words that show bad manners.
- Talk about why good manners matter at home and at school, using complete sentences.
