Learning Objectives

Indicator: 3.3.3.LI.2 - Explore Consumer Electronic careers.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify at least five different career paths available in the consumer electronics industry in Ghana and internationally.
  2. Explain the roles and responsibilities of at least three professionals working with consumer electronic devices (e.g., technicians, engineers, software developers, system installers).
  3. Map the connection between circuit components (resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes) and the work done by electronics professionals.
  4. Discuss the skills, qualifications, and training pathways needed for a career in consumer electronics.
  5. Present a concept map showing the importance of consumer electronics and the career opportunities within the field.
