Indicator: K2.7.1.1.3 - Use a variety of new vocabulary learnt about the theme to create an informational text for reading using LEA

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Recall and use at least 4 new vocabulary words about ways we communicate with the global community (e.g., phone, computer, letter, email).
Contribute their own sentences about how people connect with people in other countries during the Language Experience Approach discussion.
Dictate sentences to the teacher and watch as their own words are written down to form a class informational text.
Read along with the teacher when the class text is read aloud, pointing to words with support.
Identify and circle the new vocabulary words in the completed class text.
