Learning Objectives

Indicator: K2.7.1.1.8 - Developing a conceptual understanding of addition and subtraction in the buying and selling that goes in between different countries.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify items that come from other countries and are sold in Ghanaian shops and markets.
Add prices of two or three international items together to find a total cost.
Subtract a price from an amount paid to find the correct change.
Role-play buying and selling international goods, giving and receiving correct change.
Use the vocabulary of buying and selling (buy, sell, price, cost, change, total, expensive, cheap) in their play and talk.
