Learning Objectives
Indicator: K2.7.1.1.8 - Developing a conceptual understanding of addition and subtraction in the buying and selling that goes in between different countries.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify items that come from other countries and are sold in Ghanaian shops and markets.
- Add prices of two or three international items together to find a total cost.
- Subtract a price from an amount paid to find the correct change.
- Role-play buying and selling international goods, giving and receiving correct change.
- Use the vocabulary of buying and selling (buy, sell, price, cost, change, total, expensive, cheap) in their play and talk.
