By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define the Internet and describe its purpose as a global network of connected computers.
- Explain the function of an IP address and state the difference between IPv4 and IPv6 formats using examples.
- Describe the role of the Domain Name System (DNS) and compare it to a phonebook.
- Distinguish between the Internet and the World Wide Web (www) using a clear analogy or example.
- Identify the four classes of Internet addresses (A, B, C, D, E) and give a practical example of each.
