Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.4.1.4.2 - Ecrire en lettres les chiffres
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Write whole numbers from 1 to 100 in French words (letters) correctly, including numbers like 21, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100.
- Write the results of simple addition, subtraction and multiplication calculations in French words, following the model: 22 + 18 = quarante.
- Convert a calculation written with digits (e.g. 15 × 3) into a complete sentence written in French words.
- Write simple arithmetic problems in words, using correct French spelling for numbers and mathematical symbols (plus, moins, fois, égale).
- Produce a short written list of 5 to 8 calculations with all numbers and results written in letters, demonstrating accurate spelling and agreement where needed.
