By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Solve simple addition and subtraction problems orally in French (numbers 1 to 59).
- Ask and answer simple calculation questions orally using “Combien font…?” and “Ça fait…”
- Use the French words for plus (et), minus (moins), and equals (font/égalent) correctly in spoken sentences.
- Respond quickly to oral mental calculation prompts from the teacher and from peers.
