Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.4.1.2.3 - Compter à haute voix des objets, des personnes de son environnement.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Count objects and people in their environment aloud in French from 1 to 20 with correct pronunciation.
- Answer the question “Combien de … ?” (How many …?) by counting aloud and giving the total in a complete French sentence.
- Count money (coins and notes) in francs/Cedis aloud, using French number words, e.g. “deux cedis plus cinq cedis égale sept cedis.”
- Participate confidently in a counting song or rhyme, counting aloud in rhythm with the class.
- Pick a number card at random, read it aloud in French, and state one more or one less without hesitation.
