Indicator: B4.4.1.4.1 - Faire des calculs simples à l’écrit avec des chiffres en lettres
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Write numbers from 0 to 20 in French words (zéro to vingt) correctly from memory.
- Read and interpret simple arithmetic operations written in French words (plus, moins, fois, divisé par).
- Write the sum, difference, product and quotient of simple calculations using French number words instead of digits.
- Complete written calculation exercises by converting digit operations into their word-form equivalents.
- Create their own simple written calculations in French, swapping digits for words correctly.
