By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read aloud a short French text containing numbers and mathematical operations with correct pronunciation of numbers 0 to 100.
Identify and state the meanings of the mathematical signs plus (+), moins (-), multiplié par (x) and divisé par (÷) when encountered in a written text.
Solve simple written arithmetic problems in French (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) and write the answers in French words.
Respond to comprehension questions about a short reading passage that involves counting and calculations.
Read and extract the key numerical information from a short French text about a shopping or market situation.
