Learning Objectives

Indicator: B9.1.1.2.1 - Demonstrate an understanding of central issues in aural discussions on inter-school football games/gala.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Listen to a short aural discussion about an inter-school football match and identify the main point (the overall result or outcome of the game).
Extract at least three secondary points from the discussion, such as the final score, the venue, the name of the winning school, or the behaviour of the players.
Respond correctly to oral questions about the central issues of the discussion, using complete Arabic sentences.
State the main point and three secondary points in their own words, using vocabulary related to football matches (نتيجة المباراة, مباراة ودية, نادي كرة القدم المحلي, حكم المباراة).
