Learning Objectives

Indicator: B9.1.1.1.2 - Recognise and recall main points in a short dialogue and use the model in personal conversation.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify at least four main points from a short Arabic dialogue played or read aloud by the teacher.
  2. Recall and restate the main points of the dialogue in correct Arabic sentences, using their own words where possible.
  3. Use the model dialogue as a framework to create and perform a similar short personal conversation with a partner.
  4. Answer simple comprehension questions about the dialogue, focusing on who, what and where information.
  5. Recognise key vocabulary and expressions from the dialogue when they appear in a new but similar context.
