Learning Objectives

Indicator: B9.1.1.4.3 - Demonstrate the ability to listen accurately and critically and identify various images and scenery of the market.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify at least four different scenery elements of a market (stalls, goods, people, sounds) when listening to a narration in Arabic.
  2. Respond accurately to questions about who, what, and where in a market-scene narration, building on the question forms from Term 1 Week 1.
  3. Visualise and describe in simple Arabic sentences a market image described orally by the teacher.
  4. Compare two market scenes described in Arabic and state one similarity and one difference between them.
  5. Ask and answer simple questions about market scenery using correct Arabic question words (ماذا، أين، من).
