Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.1.1.1.1 - Demonstrate understanding of questions of who? what? and when? and provide the answers appropriately.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the three Arabic question words من (who?), ماذا (what?) and متى (when?) when heard in spoken sentences.
- Distinguish between the three question words based on the type of answer each one demands (a person, a thing or an action, a time).
- Respond orally and accurately to questions beginning with من, ماذا and متى using complete Arabic sentences.
- Ask a classmate a simple question using each of the three question words and evaluate whether the answer given is appropriate.
