Learning Objectives

Indicator: B9.1.1.1.1 - Demonstrate understanding of questions of who? what? and when? and provide the answers appropriately.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify the three Arabic question words من (who?), ماذا (what?) and متى (when?) when heard in spoken sentences.
Distinguish between the three question words based on the type of answer each one demands (a person, a thing or an action, a time).
Respond orally and accurately to questions beginning with من, ماذا and متى using complete Arabic sentences.
Ask a classmate a simple question using each of the three question words and evaluate whether the answer given is appropriate.
