Indicator: B9.2.1.2.3 - Make generalisations from text and link to real life situations
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define a generalisation and distinguish it from a specific fact or detail in a text.
- Identify patterns in a given text that support a generalisation.
- Formulate at least three sound generalisations from a text read in class.
- Link the generalisations made to real life situations in Ghana using evidence from personal experience.
- Judge whether a generalisation is supported or overgeneralized based on the evidence in the text.
