Indicator: B5.2.7.1.2 - Note and recall main ideas in a sequence

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. State the four steps of the SQ3R method (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) in their correct order.
  2. Survey a short passage and predict its main idea before reading.
  3. Generate at least three questions about a text before reading it.
  4. Read a passage and identify the main idea of each paragraph in the order the ideas appear.
  5. Recall and retell the main ideas of a text in the correct sequence using the SQ3R steps.
