Indicator: B4.2.7.1.2 - Note and recall main ideas in a sequence

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Survey a short text by skimming its headings, sub-headings and pictures to predict what it is about.
  2. Formulate at least two questions about a text before reading it fully.
  3. Read a short passage and identify the main idea of each paragraph in the order they appear.
  4. Recall and state the main ideas of a text in the correct sequence using their own words.
  5. Use the SQ3R steps (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) to work through a short text independently.
