Indicator: B4.2.7.2.1 - Respond to a text with reasons
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the main point of view expressed in a given text
- State their own opinion about a text or an issue raised in a text
- Give at least two clear reasons to support their point of view
- Use sentence frames such as “I think… because…” and “In my view…” to present their responses
- Respectfully listen to and consider the points of view of classmates during discussion
