Indicator: B4.2.7.2.1 - Respond to a text with reasons

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify the main point of view expressed in a given text
State their own opinion about a text or an issue raised in a text
Give at least two clear reasons to support their point of view
Use sentence frames such as “I think… because…” and “In my view…” to present their responses
Respectfully listen to and consider the points of view of classmates during discussion
