Indicator: B3.2.7.1.2 - Ask and answer factual, inferential and vocabulary questions about level-appropriate texts

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Ask and answer factual questions that have answers directly stated in a text.
Ask and answer inferential questions by using clues in the text plus their own knowledge.
Identify and explain the meaning of unfamiliar words in a text using context clues.
Formulate at least one question of each type (factual, inferential, vocabulary) about a given passage.
Respond to both teacher-led and peer questions about a shared reading text with increasing confidence.

- Ask learners to read and answer simple pre-reading questions as you guide them.
- Guide learners to ask and answer factual, inferential and vocabulary questions on the passage read.
