Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.4.2.1.4 - Show preliminary writing skills in a targeted text format, including prose, poetry and drama.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the key features of a narrative essay (prose) in Arabic, including setting, characters, and sequence of events.
- Write a short narrative essay in Arabic of 5 to 7 sentences narrating an incident they witnessed.
- Write a short descriptive essay in Arabic of 5 to 7 sentences describing a familiar place or event.
- Arrange ideas in a clear, logical order using connecting words such as ثمّ، بعد ذلك، في النهاية (then, after that, finally).
- Correctly use past tense verbs appropriate for a narrative and present tense verbs appropriate for a description.
