Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.4.2.1.1 - Show writing skill in simple compositions, including a dialogue, formal and informal essays.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the key features of an informal essay in Arabic, including context, sentence variety, language, voice, interjections, personal pronoun, and tone.
- Distinguish between formal and informal style in short Arabic passages.
- Plan a 100-word informal essay on a given topic by brainstorming ideas and organising them.
- Write a 100-word informal essay in Arabic that uses appropriate personal pronouns, interjections, and a conversational tone.
- Review a peer’s informal essay and give feedback on tone and language using a simple checklist.
