Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.4.2.2.3 - Show ability to write short answers that follow the rules of sentence structure and connect ideas in a logical fashion.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Write short answers to questions in Arabic that begin with a capital letter (proper noun marker) and end with a full stop.
  2. Form complete Arabic sentences using correct subject-verb-object order in a short answer.
  3. Connect two or more sentences using the conjunction “وَ” (and) or “لِأَنَّ” (because) to show logical relationships between ideas.
  4. Use their own words to complete given sentence stems while keeping the meaning logical and clear.
  5. Arrange short answer sentences in a logical order to respond to a simple question about daily life.
