Indicator: B9.1.1.2.1 - Explore personalisation of the computer

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Explain what personalisation of a computer means and give at least two examples of what can be personalised on a desktop.
  2. Change desktop icons by adding, removing, or resizing icons on the desktop.
  3. Change the mouse pointer to a different style or scheme using the personalisation settings.
  4. Demonstrate the steps for personalising the computer desktop and describe how each change affects how they use the computer.
  5. Discuss how personalisation can improve comfort, accessibility, and efficiency when working on a computer.
