By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain what personalisation of a computer means and give at least two examples of what can be personalised on a desktop.
- Change desktop icons by adding, removing, or resizing icons on the desktop.
- Change the mouse pointer to a different style or scheme using the personalisation settings.
- Demonstrate the steps for personalising the computer desktop and describe how each change affects how they use the computer.
- Discuss how personalisation can improve comfort, accessibility, and efficiency when working on a computer.
