By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Define file management and drive management in their own words.
Explain what disk defragmentation is and state why it improves computer performance.
Describe the process of file compression and demonstrate how to compress and extract files.
Explain the purpose of partitioning a hard disk and state at least two benefits of having multiple partitions.
Apply at least two file management techniques (compression, defragmentation, or partitioning) to organise files on a computer.
