Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.5.1.1.2 - Discuss the types of lines used in graphic communication
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and name at least six types of lines used in graphic communication, including horizontal, vertical, inclined, arc, continuous thick, continuous thin, and short dash lines.
- Describe the features and uses of continuous thick lines, continuous thin lines, and short dash lines with accurate examples.
- Illustrate the application of dimension lines, outlines, and construction lines on a simple drawn object.
- Create a labelled chart showing how different lines are applied in drawing an object.
- Present their chart to the class and appraise their own and peers’ work using simple criteria.
